Hotel Vijaya - Amsterdam

Oda çok dardı ve rezervasyonumda belirtilmeyen bir süprizle karşılaştım. Tuvalet banyom odanın dışında koridorun karşısındaydı. Duş yapıp odaya gitmek rahatsız ediciydi.

placed in the centre of Amsterdam, safe, comfortable room, helpful receptionists

high stairs to the room, window difficult to open, ugly view from the window, broken towels (with the holes), not too much space in the bathroom, housekeeping man was seen when he put clean guests towels on the stairs (on the carpet)

The location is smack in the middle of the red light district which was great for us but not ideal for families

Rooms are very basic and cramped especially with 3 of us in the room. We were also on the top floor which has a very steep set of stairs to get to it. Be warned try and get a room on the lower floors.

Reasonably cheap, the location was excellent, the bed comfy, and the staff friendly.

Room suffered from noise (doors banging etc.) as guests checked out, so no real lie-in in the mornings.

Very central location. Very close to train station. Reasonable price. Was a cheap hotel and expectations were not high so just as expected. Room was cleaned daily and shower was warm which was positive. If you are looking for a hotel which is cheap with good location and you are not going to be spending much time there then it should suit.

Breakfast was limited. Bread boiled eggs ham and cheese daily but good enough. Room poorly equipped. No hairdryer. No tea or coffee making facilities. Very steep flight of stairs. No reception on tv and not able to watch any. Not enough seats at breakfast table and had to wait. Walls in room had damp on the walls. Seemed more like a youth hostel than hotel.

The location and the view. Also the staff were very helpful and the breakfast was good too.

The stairs to the room were very narrow and the rooms are rather small.

Did exactly what it said on the tin, a charming little hotel right slap bang in the middle of all the action in Amsterdam. Bed was comfy, room was warm, shower was hot and view was wicked. What more can I say?

Location very good, close to all amenties. Breakfast was ok . and staff friendly.

No lift, rooms tooooo small. Bathroom with shower can barly fit !! tv not working. No ac with old fan.

Close to Red Light District, Central Station and other attractions.

Small bathroom, small room, no fridge.

The sheets were clean and bed was comfy.

the shower had no troff or tub so water goes every where in the washroom soo. Basicly it was a washroom where sink toilet and just shower head so water goes every where. The internet did not work as promised

The location. The security aspect of having to be buzzed into the Hotel.

The best thing about this hotel is it's location. 10 minutes walk to central station, 5 minutes walk to dam square and red light district is just across the canal. If you want a little bit comfort than to stay in hostels this is a perfect hotel with fair price. room is really small but you'll only use it to sleep and probabbly you won't remember it in Amsterdam :)

If you stayed in luxury hotels in your trips so far, stay out of this hotel and many hotels/hostels in Amsterdam. really small rooms and bathroom, very noisy. old building.

The hotel window view at room 20 is wonderful- it overlooks the oudezijds voorburgwal canal. The bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast menu is basic but very reliable. The building seems to be well-kept and receptions flooring looks freshly renovated. Staff is courteous and helpful. Housekeeping regularly offers fresh towels. Overall my stay was very pleasant.

The TV remote did not work and the reading lamp was out. I could have told the staff about it, but it was not a big deal since I wasn't in Amsterdam to enjoy just the hotel room.

Perfect location in the centre of the red light district, close to everything. The room was very clean and the breakfast provided was nice. Excellent value for money considering how nice the room was, the fact that breakfast was included, and the good location.

The double bed is made by pushing two single beds together, which is a bit uncomfortable, but this is the case across Amsterdam and isn't only just this hotel.
